A monstera on a pole reaches 7 to 10 feet indoors.
It fit seamlessly into the one I bought before. Happy plant is almost to the ceiling!
Cynthia S. · Verified buyerIt’s sturdy and does the job in the most cute way. I had tried all kinds sticks and rods to give support to my monstera but nothing had worked like this. I can see this also lasting for a long time.

See how the poles stack
Twist the ends together. The metal core screws into itself, so three poles become one tall pole. No zip ties, no tape, no replacing the pole when the plant outgrows it.
Every pole adds two feet of climb.
Three stacked poles reach six feet, which is where most indoor monsteras fill out. Start with what your plant needs now and screw on another when it gets there.
Kanso pole vs. a standard moss pole
| KansoCoco coir pole | Standard moss pole | |
|---|---|---|
| Shape | Bends to your plant | Rigid |
| As the plant grows | Stacks to 6 ft and beyond | Replace when outgrown |
| How it extends | Screws together | Tape and zip ties |
| Material | Natural coconut husk | Often plastic-backed |
| Anchoring | Detachable 8 inch metal stake | Push into soil |
Made from what the coconut industry throws away
Coconut husk fiber, a byproduct of the coconut harvest that would otherwise be burned. Spun into a surface aerial roots can actually grip.
Fully biodegradable, and kinder than peat moss to the ecosystems it is harvested from.

Questions, answered.
Will it hold a mature monstera?
Yes. The core is a metal tube rather than rolled plastic, and the 8 inch stake anchors it in the soil. Stacked poles stay rigid under the weight of a full-grown plant.
Do I need the stake?
The stake comes with every pole and screws off. Use it in the bottom pole for anchoring. Poles stacked above the first one do not need it.
How do the poles connect?
The ends are threaded. You screw one pole into the next by hand in a few seconds. No tools, ties or tape.
Does it work for pothos and philodendron?
Yes. Any climbing aroid with aerial roots will attach to the coir, including pothos, philodendron, syngonium and rhaphidophora.
Where does it ship from?
Orders ship from Vancouver, BC. Lead time is 1 to 2 business days.
